MV3 was founded by Harvard Medical School students and stands for  Mobilizing Voices through Education, Service, and Advocacy.

Our mission at the MV3 Foundation is to invest in the personal, academic, and professional growth of the next generation of Black professionals in healthcare and health sciences so that they are poised to make a positive impact in the health of communities of color. The MV3 Foundation is a community of scholars, graduate students, and health/ biomedical science professionals who are working to create a more diverse and equitable health/ biomedical science workforce. We believe that in order to do this, we must invest in the personal and professional growth of our future leaders in health and biomedical science. Our community will serve as a catalyst for the mobilization of MV3 Scholars’ voices, inspiring and empowering them to positively impact their communities through our 3 Pillars: Education, Service, and Advocacy. It takes a village to invoke positive change in our communities, and at the MV3 Foundation we are doing just that.
